Our Mission

A movement rooted in dignity, built on decades of grassroots trust.

BioBloom works to ensure that every girl, woman, adolescent, and community member can access accurate information, dignity, and essential services related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, menstrual health, maternal well-being, bodily autonomy, and gender equality.

While BioBloom is currently being strengthened with the support of Women Win, The Netherlands, this work began years earlier through the grassroots efforts of CHIKKA Federation of India — conducting awareness campaigns, community outreach, educational sessions, and advocacy to challenge stigma and empower individuals with knowledge that transforms lives.

Our vision reaches far beyond a single project: to build BioBloom into one of India's leading community-based movements for reproductive health, menstrual dignity, and gender equality — beginning in Bihar, expanding across India, and one day partnering with the world.

Managed by CHIKKA Federation of India — an Indian non-profit organization holding Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).
